Below is a short list of text errors that have been found in the pages of “Spirit of Modern Times” after its latest publication in October 2024. These items will be corrected in a future publication of the book. All of the errors are attributable to the author and were written in the book’s original draft.

• Page 220, midway through 1st paragraph: “. . . you had just been at McConnell and Baines where you found a good pair of gloves.” The store was not McConnell and Baines: it was Pittman’s (see p. 66).

• Page 422, Comstock Family tree: at the top of the chart, Rev. Elkanah Comstock’s lifespan dates are shown as 1715-1834. The birth year should be 1771 not 1715.
